------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Thu Nov 6 03:24:00 +0000 2008 ------- I tried importing 141 Images directly from Iphoto. The first 50 or so images loaded very quickly. The rest took well over an hour to import into the document. After the images were imported, any scrolling past the images brings Open Office to a grinding halt. It takes several minutes and then gives control of Open Office back to me. This only effects open office. The rest of my computer runs without a problem. I opened activity monitor. My Ram is fine, with over 750mb free, and another 750mb inactive. The cpu usage goes way up. My user processes hover at around 40-50% Then go down to almost nothing when Open Office gives me control again. I tried working around the problem by finishing my doc in NeoOffice. No luck. Same problem. Happy to provide any other info that might be of help.
