------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Thu Nov 6 10:16:49 +0000 2008 ------- I'm trying to write a text document that I started on an OOo 2.4.1/english language version, now continuing on a different machine with OOo 2.4.1/german language version. While writing, I discovered that eg. quotation marks were set according to the german language rules, but, of course, I wanted english language rules. So, I searched and discovered a way to "convert" the document to the english language (extra->options->language settings-> some mods, plus "for the current document only"), and clicked ok. That was well over 35 cpu minutes ago, for a five page document, and on an AMD64 dual-core @ 4400 + 4gigs of RAM. OOo is virtually dead - not even able to redraw it's screen, nor even displaying its menus. Thankfully, OOo can't make use of the dual-core and thus pegs only one of them, which allows me to work on the other in the meantime, but it would be great to find that infinite loop, and correct it. FWIW, memory usage seems to stay constantly at 471megs of RAM. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
