------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Fri Nov 7 17:19:46 +0000 2008 ------- 1. In word 2003 the fields are inserted as normal text, meaning you can edit it in place (even though it does not update the value of the field - it just changes the displayed text). When you then load such file in oOO 3.0, the displayed text is the real value of the field, which is different than the edited text shown in word 2003. 2. Open Office is not able to edit more than four (4) user defined fields. Many word documents are created with more than 4 custom fields, making it impossible to modify those fields in oOO. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
