------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Mon Nov 10 23:45:59 +0000 2008 ------- See the attached documents (StyleDoc.ott and NewDoc.odt) to work from. In the StyleDoc, I have defined several custom headings: Heading 1 is in the fashion "Section 1: Heading Name"; Heading 2 is in the fashion "1.1 Heading Name"; Heading 3 is in the fashion "1.1.1 Heading Name"; Heading 4 is a new numbering scheme in the fashion "Appendix A: Appendix Name". In the New Doc, I have also set up Heading 1 with "Section n" as an example, but it doesn't matter if this is set up this way or not. >From the Style Palette, click on the option to "Load Styles...", loading them from the StyleDoc.ott document. In order to get all of the changes, I selected "Overwrite" You'll find that the prefix "Section" is gone now, as are any other custom changes to outline numbering. If you go to Tools / Outline Numbering, you'll find that there is no association with any outline level, even though in BOTH the original document and the document that the styles are imported from had them. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
