I start Calc and type some text in a cell - the font language becomes Russian by default (I have Russian version of OOo). 2. I change font language in the Font tab of cell properties to English. 3. I save document in XLS format. 4. I open document - the font language resets to Russian. This issue works for the documents I receive by mail too (so the text was created with English language for the font). Looks like Calc resets the language for any opened XLS document. The issue doesn't exist for documents saved in ODS!!!
