After removing the overwrite, the text boxes are aligned properly. The comments before the code I removed say that it was added to handle issues 15718, 19008, and 52565, which is a follow-up to i24255. However, I found that all the bugdocs attached to those issues are imported correctly, even after applying my patch. (This does not include the document testcase.doc attached to i52565, which according to mru, has a case which is not covered by OOo.)
