2008 -------
1) Open the example document ortho.odt (attached to the issue).
2) Enable the option "Tools -> Options... -> Language Settings -> Writing Aids
-> Options -> Check words with numbers" -> OK.
3) Start to Spellcheck the document (by pressing F7, for example).
4) Press the "Ignore Once" button until the spellchecking ends. It will catch
the following "errors": "http", "www.ieee802.", "rg", "file1.", and "df".

Notice that even though you told it to ignore all the "errors", it changed two
of them: "rg" to "org" and "df" to "pdf". More explicitly, the text that was:

  http://www.ieee802.org/
  file1.pdf

changed to

  http://www.ieee802.oorg/
  file1.ppdf
