Tools... Options... Java... Use a Java Runtime Environment ticked. After a few seconds Free Software Foundation 1.4.2 is detected. No further Java installations detected after several minutes. Tried Add... Navigated to /usr/java/jre1.6.0_07/ Clicked Select but no further Java added. Free Software Foundation 1.4.2 is not sufficient to use MySQL connector with Base (or Search Function in Help system).
