------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sun Nov 23 20:00:38 +0000 2008 ------- I have recently had some OOo crashes. I cannot figure out why, they just happend. Twice while moving an PNG-Image with transparancy in Impress causing all OOo applications to crash. But I cannot force the program to crash, it just happens sometimes ... But that is not the issue im am talking about, since there are other occasions when i am facing the very same problem, namely: After those crashes all my data (which was not saved) is lost. OOo crashes, asks me if I want to store the files, I confirm, restart OOo, OOo asks my, if it should restore the files, I confirm, but the files are at the state, at which I saved them the last time manually. All the other information is lost. Even the information, that should have been stored via tools - options - load/save - general - save autorestoringinfo every x Minutes ("Speichern von AutoWiederherstellungsinfo alle x Minuten"). Therefore this feature is currently useless to me. Since it happened to me several times now, it is somewhat annoying ... Proposal: reintroduce AutoSave of files (rather than saving restorage info) --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
