------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Thu Nov 27 18:36:02 +0000 2008 ------- I generate a color palette based ond the scribus color palette. The idea is to increase the default color choice of OOo. The Desktop publishing free software Scribus contains more than 500 colors on it's palette. I was able to transform it and document it on this wikipage: http://wiki.services.openoffice.org/wiki/ES/Desarrollo/PaletaColores Even thought some issues exist regarding the interface of having 600 colors displayed on a dropdown box. I think that through the quick buttons feature (click a button and jump to the color) The way to go through the list is simple. However I also advice to change the widget to a grid similar to programs such as dreamweaver grid and also similar to our own marker color grid. Dreamweaver: http://www.roysac.com/tutorial/asciitutorial_files/ color_dreamweaver.gif Marker grid: http://alexandro.biz/colorgrid.png Some concerns were addressed by Christhian Lippka about licensing, Scribus is GPL however I will confirm that the palette doesn't hold any special restriction. https://sourceforge.net/projects/scribus The email thread is here: http://graphics.openoffice.org/servlets/ReadMsg?list=dev&msgNo=1360 --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
