I'm opening this issue again.

Take a look at this website: http://www.openoffice.org.br/saite/
and compare to: http://br-pt.openoffice.org/

I know you don't know how to speak portuguese, but you can look at the site and
try to download OOo, for instance. You won't be able to do it.

1. Click in Downloads at the right menu
2. Notice that it refers to OpenOffice.org 1.1 RC4
3. Click in any link for start the download
4. You'll got "The requested URL /openoffice/localized/pt-br/1.1rc4/ was not
found on this server."

Resume: someone who access www.openoffice.org and then go to the brazilian
website won't be able to download OOo, as the site is not atualized.
The brazilian project uses www.openoffice.org.br as the site.

Now they changed the links, so also the links to www.openoffice.org.be in the
page br-pt.openoffice.org are out of date.

Compare the page I showed: http://www.openoffice.org.br/downloads.php
with:
http://www.openoffice.org.br/saite/conteudo.php?inc=conteudo/texto&tx=3&id_aba=1
(notice you start the download clicking in the icon correspondinng to your OS,
instead of the link and this page points to the latest official version
available in br-pt, 1.1.3)

I won't accept closing this issue now without a very clear explaination from the
project leader.
