I cannot open the office writer by double clicking on an ODT file or by
selecting the writer in the start menu. I can only open ODT files with the
following steps:

1. Navigate to C:\Program Files\OpenOffice.org 3\program
2. Double click on swriter.exe
3. Use File -> Open File to open my file

If I try to double click on the file, the writer crashes.
If I try to open the writer using an icon in the start menu it crashes
If I try to open OpenOffice from the start menu, it crashes.

This started happening when I tried installing Goo (another version of Open
office.) I uninstalled it and rebooted, then reinstalled open office. But the
problems remain.

Is there a path somewhere that I am missing?

Thanks!
