The ValidateKashidas() method is called for both cases indeed: the unvocalized case it is called with pKashidaPos[]={1} (first Damma) and for the vocalized case with pKashidaPos[]={6} (second Damma). On a first look the UniscribeLayout::IsKashidaPosValid() is really suspicious.
