------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Mon Apr 4 02:25:35 -0700 2005 ------- Hi, I often print documents in two-columns page style, and have to adjust margins (in order to optimise wasted-paper, or getting the text to fill exactly X pages, or any other reasons..). Yet in many occasion, while i'm moving the ruler cursor on the top ruler bars, the layout totally mess up, with texts getting started far left before the paper size, and i don't know how to recover from it. This has occured to me several times, both in 1.1.x and 1.9.x. I don't really know how to reproduce it exactly, so here is "roughly" how to do it: - Get a text document (about 2 or 3 pages is good enough) - Change the default PageStyle to a 2-columns one - Play with the ruler on the top. Sometimes the left column will mess up the text, and it's hard to recover, even when going back to a 1-column style. (by hitting keyboard left-arrows, you can even get the edit cursor leave the gray area of the canvas) Maybe i'm doing something wrong, but this happens pretty often to me, and if it's the intended behaviour, a help-hint should be _really_ appreciated on how to explain that behaviour. I attached some document exhibiting the bad behaviour. Maybe you can have a look at it and check if it is the intended behaviour. Sorry for being so vague, but this is a major bug in my opinion.
