------- Additional comments from j...@openoffice.org Fri Dec 12 15:53:26 +0000 2008 ------- a- when opening a powerpoint presentation in impress in notes view the text is not displayed properly as it displays text over text, text outside the page and mixes tables with text. b- when printing a page whose text is displayed outside the page the text displayed outside the page doesn't show on the printed page. c- while i was preparing to report this issue I opened the file 1.ppt in impress deleted the slides that where not affected and saved the remaining slides in a new file called 2.ppt through "file-->save as", when I checked 2.ppt in powerpoint in notes view i noticed the following: 1- the slides disappeared and only a thin black boarder is shown indicating where the slides should display. 2- All the text was underlined by the red line that indicates incorrect word spelling. 3- the table that displayed incorrectly in impress is now displayed incorrectly in powerpoint. (the table is in the second slide of the file 2.ppt) 4- text that displayed inside the page in powerpoint but displayed outside the page in impress is now displayed outside the page in powerpoint. attachement: I will attach a zip archive called sample.zip containing the original file 1.ppt and the file i was originally going to send to you 2.ppt which contains the slides incorrectly displayed. The archive was created using 7zip v4.42. system info: dual boot system win xp sp3 with latest updates + Microsoft office 2003 win 2000 sp4 with latest updates + open office v3 (ooo300m9 build 9358) --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
