Charts (pie charts, maybe others) created with default colouring (segments
assigned colours automatically) display ok in OpenOffice 3 but when
saved/exported to MS Excel (Excel 97) the documents open with settings that mean
all the segments are set to the same colour (blue) - the automatic setting is
lost.

http://user.services.openoffice.org/en/forum/viewtopic.php?f=20&t=13048

Steps to reproduce.

Create a pie chart with default coloured segments (I'm using UNO Java API but I
think it's irrelevant).
Save to MS Excel 97 format.
Open in MS Excel (in my case Excel 2003)
Observe pie chart segment colours are incorrect.

Steps to put right in Excel:

Open the document in MS Excel
Right click on the pie chart (the chart itself not the outer container)
Select "Format Data Series..." from the context menu
On the "Patterns" tab, charge the "Area" colouring properties to "Automatic"

Normal, sensible default segment colouring is restored.

It seems the export loses the "automatic" area colour setting when
exporting/converting to MS Excel.
