------- Additional comments from reim...@openoffice.org Mon Dec 15 00:46:15 +0000 2008 ------- I wanted to copy an “amount” from an OOo-writer document into a Calc cell. In that operation I pasted one or more leading blanks from the Writer document into the Calc sheet cells. Those leading blanks are not (as what one would expect) ignored during conversion by the Calc program. They don't trigger any error message or warning when they are pasted into the Calc cells, but they manage to sufficiently screw up the program to produce “an error in the calculation” that could easily be overlooked. Remark: I tried to attach a Calc file that clearly shows the problem but I couldn't find out how to attach something.
