Open a text document, choose Tools - Options - OpenOffice.org Writer - Basic Fonts I specified "Free Farsi" font instead of default font (Tahoma) but when I reopen the settings for the basic fonts in my document I see the defaults are reloaded! -- Note: "Free Farsi" is a free Persian font.
