User nmailhot changed the following: What |Old value |New value ================================================================================ Status|CLOSED |UNCONFIRMED -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Resolution|WONTFIX | -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------- Additional comments from nmail...@openoffice.org Fri Jan 9 13:04:18 +0000 2009 ------- As I already wrote not only this setting is unintuitive and works bad, but it resets even after you've told many times OO.o a particular cell had a non-number content. Looking at the issues listed in the other bugs people were complaining OO.o was changing the format of cells from number to text, not that the default was text or number. I'm complaining it's changing from text to number. (and that the default is number) It's really the same bug which has not been fixed at all, except the default has been switched so instead of bothering one class of users it bothers another OO.o should not change cell format from text to number or the reverse when people have specified a format. Changing the default only papers over the bug for half the user-base --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
