------- Additional comments from dis...@openoffice.org Sat Jan 10 17:26:37 +0000 2009 ------- This bug is the same described in ISSUE 85356. I have exactly the same problem, but i'm using OOo 3.0. Fresh installation, working with admin rights, JRE 6 Update 11. I have a OpenLDAP Server who servces for network wide login, addressbook, etc. for linux, windows, thunderbird, etc. It's defenitely not my LDAP setup which causes this problem. I have anonymous access disabled and allow ldap_2/_3 as protocaols. All attempts to connect with a BindDN (aka username in the GUI), OOo even does not try to connect to the LDAP Server (Was sniffing my traffic to the LDAP server). For testing, i enabled anonymous access and connected without any BindDN - suddenly OOo communicates with the LDAP server. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
