Most applications have this feature and it would seem to take less guesswork out
of ‘recovering’ a file. You would be able to remove the AutoRecovery dialog box
out of the program. The only thing that would be done is to simply open the file
from the time it was last saved, which is all that AutoRecovery is supposed to
do anyway. You wouldn’t need an external file unless you wanted to include an
optional backup file like the Boxer Text Editor does.

I was undecided whether this was a feature or enhancement. I went with
enhancement. I also was unsure which component this came under.
