------- Additional comments from h...@openoffice.org Fri Jan 23 19:45:56 +0000 2009 ------- When I use "Context" option in Language Settings>Complex Text Layout>Numerals>General Options>Numerals, I expect to see Hindi numerals in Arabic and Farsi text, and Arabic numerals for other scripts. Right now, for all scripts Arabic numerals is used. Below you can see a full description: Reference number in text: a. Arabic -> Hindi numerals should be used but this not happens right now. b. Farsi -> Hindi numerals should be used but this not happens right now. Reference number before footnote/endnote itself: a. Arabic -> Hindi numerals should be used, but this not happens right now for empty footnotes. b. Farsi -> Hindi numerals should be used, but this not happens right now. For non-empty footnotes, it's because of issue 98399. I think it's better to use the direction of the footnote text for choosing between Hindi and Arabic numerals for Reference number before footnote/endnote. Otherwise there would be many situations to discuss. It seems that the idea of this is somehow complicated.
