------- Additional comments from ecjb1...@openoffice.org Sat Jan 24 22:09:25 +0000 2009 ------- The installer gets to the end, and first reports an error about permissions on C:\Windows\winsxs\Policies (which doesn't exist). That folder is owned by TrustedInstaller. After setting myself to the owner, the installer fails again at the end with what looks like a .NET error. It says something like "assembly=...,policy=win32' I figure that it's failing because I'm running a 64 bit platform (lots of amd64 entries in winsxs, running Intel Core 2 Duo 2.15 Ghz, Dell XPS M1710). Any help figuring this out would be appreciated.
