Steps to reproduce:

1. Create a .doc in Word, and paste in a wide image (i.e. 2560x1024), such as
a print screen from a dual monitor system.

2. Use Word's image crop tool to crop the image down roughly in half
horizontally.

3. Resize cropped image in Word so that it roughly fills in the horizontal
margins of the page.

4. Save the .doc from Word

5. Open the .doc using Writer.

6. Save the .doc from Writer.

7. Open the .doc in Writer or Word. Word will display an error dialog "The
dimensions after cropping are too small or too large." Neither Word nor Writer
will display the image.
