------- Additional comments from pbhallamudi2...@openoffice.org Thu Jan 29

I could reproduce this issue using the following steps.
1.Open a existing presentation (.ppt or .odp) in Openoffice impress
2.change show type:windows (from the tool bar select "slide show"->"slide show
settings" and change type to "window")
3.press f5 to view slide show.

I have also attached the screen shot of the image where no other activity is
possible(after step 3) ( live mode).
I tried similar setting in Microsoft power point presentation 2007 to observer
this behaviour
(Show Type: Window)
The view is similar except for the fact that it doesnt display the tool bar.

In open office when the "show type" is "window", its displays the tool bar and
all the buttons are gryed out (button for opening the file is not gryed out,
but doesnt work as it gives message that in live mode this operation is not
vaid)

Because of this you cannot toggle between the different view as its in live
mode
, and more over as seen with microsoft presentation 2007, there need not be a
tool bar in OO as none of the activities are possible during live mode nor its
needed.
If its required to exit the presentation without going till the end, one can
use
ESC key or do right click and select "end show" ( this behaviour is same as it
is in microsoft power point presenatation)

System Configuration:
OO:3.00 (build 9358)
OS: windows Visats home premium
