It is also possible to copy and paste only partially content to other cells. But it is not possible to copy one cell and insert for example only the text to a marked group of cells. You only can copy the content with the mouse by drag down with the marker in the corner. But this will copy everything, and when numbers are in the cells, they will be counted up or down.
