@mgruenkerr:I think the core reason of this issue is something different.
rherman complains about the color getting lost and not about the playing a not
selected effect.
The tab pages have a different behaviour here: the slideeffect tabpage always
plays the current effect because you can only have one slide effect on each
slide.
The custom animation behaves different because you can have several object
effects on one object. Thats why you have to select some th see the preview.
@rherman: how and where do you select the color? Thanks.
