@dudson:  OOo 3 comes in three layers (URE, basis, brand) that are typically
stored in different directories (the brand layer being stored in a directory
named "OpenOffice.org 3" on Windows), so for the Windows installer it now only
made sense to chose the base directory under which the three layers are
installed, no longer the full directory to the OOo brand layer.

@is:  However, since the three layers are packed together again now on Windows
after all, it might make sense to change the directory choice back to how it
worked in OOo 2.
