------- Additional comments from mg...@openoffice.org Thu Feb 5 10:49:58 +0000 2009 ------- It is great that Open Office is now a native Aqua application in Mac OS X. However, it is somewhat presumptuous for Open Office to set itself as the default application to open .doc, .xls, .ppt This should be a question that is asked during the installation process and something that is easily changeable in the Preferences menu of Open Office. When you install Firefox, it asks if you would like to make it your default web browser. In the same way, OpenOffice should ASK if you would like it to be the default application for opening .doc, .xls, .ppt etc. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
