After installing the extension, start Writer from a Terminal window using: /Applications/OpenOffice.org-3.0.0.app/Contents/program/swriter & Select Tools>Add-Ons>AWT Color Bug>Demonstrate Bug from the toolbar A message dialog appears and after pressing Ok, the error message is printed to the Terminal window. If the extension is operating correctly, a second message dialog should appear.
