------- Additional comments from paddylan...@openoffice.org Sun Feb 8 14:36:24 +0000 2009 ------- When moving a graphic, you cannot finely place the graphic if it is near another graphic (or indeed its existing location) because the graphic snaps to the other graphic (or itself). This is independent of the existing snap-to option in Tools -> Options -> OpenOffice Writer -> Grid -> Snap to grid, and it cannot be turned off. Example: 1. Create a rectangle (or insert a picture or clip-art). 2. Grab the rectangle to move it just a fraction to the right (or left or up or down). While you can move it larger distances, and then finely place it, you cannot move it just a small fraction, because of the snap-to feature. I would like to see an extra option, say "Snap to graphic", which I can turn on or off.
