I can reproduce the problem on my Macbook, changed status to NEW.
As there is in OOo 3.0 the possibility to use XSLT filter as full Office
extensions, which allows a higher feature set over the JAR, the problem can be
easily work-around.
For a sample filter template, please take a look into the issue 88270
My 2 cents:
I would rather drop the JAR handling instead investing time in fixing int.
