Hi, glad to hear you didn't have a problem.

2.4.1 was originally loaded onto the machine. No problems. Upgraded to 3.0.0.
No problems. Just recently upgraded to 3.0.1 & had not tried to export to .pdf.
Adobe Reader 9.0 is on the machine but wanted more features. Loaded Adobe
Acrobat 5.0; the download showed conflicts. Finished the download but removed
Acrobat 5.0 with Vista program. Had to email a report from Writer in .pdf
format. The export program appeared to operate properly just like in 2.4.1 &
3.0.0. Screen showed that the .pdf file extension would be added, etc.
Unfortunately, the export would not change the extension from the .odt format.
Used the remove option in the 3.0.1 setup to remove the program. 2.4.1 files
had been kept on the machine. Reinstalled 2.4.1 & had .pdf export
functionality. Deleted the 3.0.1 files and re-downloaded 3.0.1 from Open
Office. Installed 3.0.1 with the new files. Problem remained. Reinstalled Adobe
Reader 9 figuring that Acrobat 5.0 had compromised a file. Went through the
process of unistalling 3.0.1, re-installed 2.4.1 - functionality was
reinstated, downloaded new 3.0.1 files and installed. Problem remained.

Here is the interesting twist. This morning I added an 'x' to the file name to
be saved. With the new name the conversion to .pdf worked using the tool bar
icon. All the photos and graphics converted perfectly. I can live with the
glitch now that I know the workaround, & can remove the 'x' once the conversion
occurs, but a seemless export is preferrable.
