------- Additional comments from fk...@openoffice.org Wed Feb 25 15:48:53 +0000 2009 ------- I´ve been watching the backup folder, while working with writer. There is a file with a _1 added to it for each of my currently opened odt's. But they are about two hours old although I recently changed them. I manually saved and closed one of them and the other backup file remained unchanged. Now, after manually saving that remaining file and editing it afterwards, the backupfile disappeared and then reappeared again, exactly five minutes after the manual save. Since then I have further edited the file without the backup file being updated again. Apparently sometimes the backup process takes place only once. But this is definitely not always the case. After restarting ooo, the automatic recovery-saving cycle on the same file takes place regularly again, now the backup file has _0 attached to it rather than _1. But unlike in rainerbielefeld's case there was no _0 version when there was a _1 version in the folder. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
