------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Wed Apr 6 08:41:40 -0700 2005 ------- When opening an existing document, the OO window is briefly shown in the wrong location and size while it loads the document. Once loaded, the window is then positioned and resized correctly. This has been observed with Writer and Calc, but I suspect it happens to all OO programs. This happens if: 1) You double click a document in Explorer that opens in OO. 2) You have OO open and use the Open toolbar button or File > Open. Now let me throw something out there that could be way off, or the answer to the problem. I have a dual monitor setup with the right monitor set to the primary display. When I open a document, it opens on the left monitor first while it loads, then fully opens to the correct size and position on the right monitor. If there is logic like the following it would fail in my setup: "Open the document window offscreen while we load the document. Then move it to its final location and size. We will 'off screen' the window by picking coordinates just out of bounds to the left of the (default) display." Ok... After a little more investigation, the above doesn't seem to be the case but I'll leave it here in case it provides some useful insight. I set my left monitor to the default display but it still shows on the left display while loading, then goes to the right when done. It seems that the window positioning and sizing code is just not happening soon enough when a new window is created. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
