I have analyzed the problem and found a solution that is not too hard to implement. The straightforward way to handle the rewinding of single effects seems to be to, well, rewind the last effect (sequence) that was triggered by user input. This turns out, as mentioned above, to be quite hard to implement with the current architecture of the slide show. A simpler but not quite so elegant way is to rewind the current slide and play back all main-sequence effects except the last one. There are two drawbacks to this approach: 1. When a main sequence effect is undone then all effects that do not belong to the main sequence are undone as well. This includes for example effects triggered by clicking on some shape. This behavior is unfortunate but I see no way around it. 2. Redisplaying the current slide and then replaying the effects is probably somewhat slower than just undoing the last effect. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
