------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Wed Apr 6 23:40:08 -0700 2005 ------- During installation Openoffice "BASE" is not listed as an option with any requirements. After install it appears as an icon next to the other OO icons giving one the impression that it is a fully functional program. However upon start, trying to run any of the functions of that program will throw an error stating that you must have a JRE installed for it to work. Of course I uninstalled my SUN JRE after I learned that OO had become dependent on closed source software to run. I couldn't find any open source implementation of a JRE for windows to install, so I am opting to live without a JRE now, which led to this discovery and subsequent report. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
