I checked with "Ooo 3.0.1 (DE) Multilingual version GERMAN UI WIN XP: [OOO300m15
(Build 9379)]" and can confirm the reported effect.
You can reproduce the problem (after you activated the required button(s)) using
my "sample.ods" and walking around in the document using the cursor keys. You
should see that the trike through button will only be updated after you pressed
F2. That differs from the behaviour of the other buttons (underline, bold, ...).
