------- Additional comments from naw...@openoffice.org Sun Mar 8 23:48:59 +0000 2009 ------- Nawwar Kabbani, March 8, 2009 In Impress you can change the measurement units to miles or kilometers, UNLIKE other OOo apps which allow only: Millimeter, Centimeter, Inch, Pica, and Point. If someone uses the big units, that would easily cause some problems. For example: 1. Create new Impress presentation. 2. Go to Tools->Options->Openoffice.org Impress->General->Units of measurement. Choose Miles and press OK. 3. Insert a table (for example). 4. Right click on the table border then click on "Position and Size.." 5. Do NOTHING! (just notice that the size is 0.001 miles and no way to enter higher precision numbers) Then click OK. The table will be resized to the smallest size possible. Same happens with pictures, and presumably any object at all. I've tested this using OOO300m15 (3.0.1) on Windows Vista. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
