Me too, I quite often crash the limits of "undo-ability" in OpenOfffice. It is not very convenient to save the file in a second version, perform the changes and eventually drop the new file and use the copy. I assume that this limit is an artificially one introduced due to slow performance of computers some years ago. In this case, a solution to this issue should be very easy.
