------- Additional comments from thanga...@openoffice.org Sat Mar 21 05:25:23 +0000 2009 ------- REPLICATE 1. /opt/openoffice.org3/program/soffice 2. Click Text Document 3. Type: nabob 4. Click the Save icon 5. Ensure Automatic file name extension is CHECKED 6. Click Save (to confirm and close the Save As dialog) 7. Click the Export Directly to PDF icon 8. Ensure Automatic file name extension is UNCHECKED 9. Click Export 10. Click the Export Directly to PDF icon EXPECTED RESULTS Was expecting the file name for PDF export to be named "nabob" (because Automatic file name extension is unchecked). ACTUAL RESULTS The file name for PDF export is named "nabob.odt". Upon clicking "Export" it says (correctly) that the file already exists. This is more an incongruence than anything else. Exporting as a PDF should never choose an extension of ".odt" -- it may confuse users. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
