------- Additional comments from h...@openoffice.org Fri Mar 27 13:18:47 +0000 2009 ------- While debugging a PDF-export problem I noticed that the sw/source/core/txtnode/fntcache.cxx method SwFntObj::CreateScrFont() layouts a fixed test string very often. That test string is 100% obsolete for a productivity suite that is in wide use all over the world. The teststring layout result seems to be measured by some kind of heuristic that bases some fancy decisions based on it. Because the layout measurements of an obsolete teststring don't have any connection with reality the resulting decision is quite random. Get rid of it, because the heuristic delivers a random result anyway and it just wastes time. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
