------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Thu Apr 7 09:18:18 -0700 2005 ------- When OOo is running in UTF-8 locale like on most modern Linux systems and a file containing an 8-bit non-UTF-8 character ist being opened, OOo just says that the file does not exist. Instead it should open that file reguardless if the filename is validly encoded in the current locale's charmap. You might for example use hex %F6 for German à in iso8859-1 like webbrowsers use to display non-ASCII URLs. Many people have problems opening files which just are not UTF-8 and don't know what to do. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
