------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Thu Apr 7 09:39:48 -0700 2005 ------- Using the Windows Open/Save dlgs, The OPEN FILE dlg is not sticky and every single time I use it, I have to reset it to display the way I use it. For example, I usually want the details listing and for the files to be sorted by latest date at the bottom with the size of the dlg size wide enough for the column widths to be wider than default so I can read the entire document name and see the date. I have to size the column widths every time too so I can see the full name of the files. When I use it the next time, it always reverts back to the default list, size, sort order, etc. Make it sticky so when I set the look and feel, it stays that way until I change it again. STEPS: Make sure you are not using the OpenOffice.org Open dlg (Tools | Options | OpenOffice.org | General | Open/Save | unmark Use OpenOffice.org dialogs.) Click File | Open Change the listing to show Details, not just the simple list. Change the dialog width by clicking and dragging in bottom right corner of the dlg and then change column widths by dragging and dropping them. Resort by Date by clicking on the date column header. Select a file and click Open. Click File | Open again and see that it's back to default. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
