------- Additional comments from garytur...@openoffice.org Wed Apr 1 18:13:22 +0000 2009 ------- The "digital" nature (slide 1,2,3,...) of slide presentations can be restrictive for presenting complex flowcharts or diagrams. The ability to display some portion of a larger "slide" would allow such presentations to go more smoothly, eliminating the need to introduce artificial breaks in the flow. As it is, getting the "big picture" on one slide often forces the fine details to be unreadable. Splitting a diagram over several slides invariably results in an inconvenient break, and consequential difficulty in switching from one slide to another. Perhaps this could be accomplished by adding a zoom feature to the presentation side of Impress, just as the editing side has, and a scroll bar once in "zoom mode" (exit "zoom mode" to navigate to the next "slide"). --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
