------- Additional comments from zhongqi...@openoffice.org Thu Apr 2 08:51:35 +0000 2009 ------- Microsoft Windows XP, Chinese (traditional-char) OpenOffice 3.0, Chinese (traditional-char) 1. Disable quick start, i.e. no OpenOffice icon in system tray. 2. Configure your computer to have two monitors. This is commonly easy to do with a notebook computer connected to an external monitor: Desktop -> Right mouse button -> Properties -> Settings -> Monitor 2 -> Extend 3. Open a file so that it brings up OpenOffice. 4. Now the splash screen is on the second monitor (wrong), but the file is on the first monitor (correct). Thanks.
