------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Thu Apr 7 23:54:54 -0700 2005 ------- Hi! If I understand this correctly, there was some change to the code on this issue as well? I run 1.9.84 on Linux as this version is the last one to correctly work together with the OO quickstart application for KDE on Linux (oooqs, http://segfaultskde.berlios.de/index.php?content=oooqs). All versions after that, I tested 1.9.87 and 1.9.90.1, don't work anymore. Instead of sending an instance of OO to the background, the oooqs app starts one OO session with splash and OO window after the other, due to the now missing quickstart functionality in the Linux version. It's allright to have the notice about the missing quickstart applet in all but the windows version but why was the quickstart functionality removed from the linux version? It would be very nice if this could be restored to the way it was until 1.9.84 and still keep the notice in the cli help. There is a quickstarter for Linux, it's just not provided by OO.
