------- Additional comments from bruce_vannor...@openoffice.org Fri Apr 3 17:59:43 +0000 2009 ------- While this may be one those "it's not a bug, it's a feature" issues, how does one "block" the "feature" at the cell level (not globally). A cell with ="xxx" is taken as a row/column title in version 2.4.2, per this discussion. --- Another feature of this feature (not a bug) is that if you change the row / column title value, the function name (in another cell) is also changed, but other, identical, row/column titles are not. Also note, I've been able to "bind" various =XXX(1) calls to different instances of the same row/column title (name). --- This "feature" is semantically unstable. Disambiguation would be helpful. #REF is too generic, and hours can be wasted. A meaningless and undocumented #FRED, would be of more use. --- Also, a more rigorous definition of what constitutes a row/column title would be helpful. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
