User tomcoxon changed the following: What |Old value |New value ================================================================================ Status|UNCONFIRMED |RESOLVED -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Resolution| |FIXED -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------- Additional comments from tomco...@openoffice.org Mon Apr 6 22:20:19 +0000 2009 ------- OOO (2.4.1) is configured as "UK" Set the UK default date format on a cell (DD/MM/YY) Then type in a US style date e.g. "03/24/2009" OOO will treat it as a text string rather than a date. Having re-tested in OOO 3.0.1 I can now tell OOO (right click on the cell > Format Cells > Numbers > Date) that it's a US format date & it treats it as a date. I can then tell OOO that it's a UK date & it formats it in UK format. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
