------- Additional comments from ko...@openoffice.org Mon Apr 13 14:50:41 +0000 2009 ------- Named ranges don't work when the formula syntax is Excel A1 or R1C1. You can define one, but when referencing it in a formula expression, it returns #NAME? in the cell. Steps to reproduce: 1. Make sure the Formula Syntax is set to Excel A1 or Excel R1C1. 2. Select any range, and name it in the range name box to the left of the formula input box, say, 'MyRange'. 3. Use it in a formula expression e.g. '=SUM(MyRange)'. 4. You get #NAME?. Also, when the named ranged is incorrectly set, all its content becomes lowercase in the Range Name dialog at Insert > Names > Define. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
